A.L.Turner lives in the West Midlands, UK. A self-identifying queer, plus size person, ALT wishes to add their queer perspective to the literary world, particularly reflecting upon the gothic and fantasy books they loved growing up and the ones they have found in adulthood.
The books they choose to read are often written by queer authors (as there wasn’t enough of that in their repertoire) or they’re queer reflections on older texts.
Or… a reflection on the trashy (endearing) vampire/fae/witch novels they picked up the habit of reading as a teen.
ALT has their mother to thank for teaching them how to read at the age of two, and their father to thank for their taste in books, after being handed their first Pratchett book at the age of twelve.
